Time for Reform – School Development in Partnerships
For many years, the Robert Bosch Stiftung has helped schools tailor their teaching methods to improve the learning performance, personality development and social competence of school students at all levels.
Personal support from teachers is essential to success in teaching children. The PISA study has shown that German schools compare unfavorably with those in other countries in the way they deal with individual abilities and skills.
"Time for Reform - School Development in Partnerships" is a program run jointly by the Robert Bosch Stiftung and Deutsche Kinder- und Jugendstiftung and draws on the experience gained in various funding programs. It uses examples from everyday teaching practice and builds on good practices established in Germany and Sweden.
As part of the program, schools with experience of reform enter alliances with up to three schools willing to explore new approaches to foster individuality and heterogeneity. Each reform-minded school sets out its own development plan and can draw on the experiences of its partner school. These partnerships and development programs are also supported by experienced school consultants.
